Feb 1826 don't know where ILL or PA. we think ? m. Elizabeth J no last name? b.1828 James Shaffer died Nov.1900 in Wapello county or could be Davis county Iowa. His wife Elizabeth J died Oct 1900 in Iowa same county as James. We Know they had 2 boys James Edward Shaffer b.March 10, 1856 in Fayette County ILL. d.in Wapello county Iowa abt.1932. He m. Mary Brooks b. Dec 21,1859 in Davis county Iowa d. Dec 23,1895 Wapello county Iowa. The othere son is Charlie Skiles Shaffer b. March 1864 Van Buren county Iowa. d. 1945 in Eldon Iowa.He was m. on March 1, 1891 to Lucy Ann Pilcher b.Dec 20 1866 d. Nov. 10 1938 in Eldon Iowa. Children of James Edward Shaffer & Mary Brooks ---- Minnie Shaffer b.1883 Albert Anson Shaffer b. Sept.25,1885 d. Tracy Calif. 1967------my grandfather Lois Shaffer b.Feb.9,1892 died later that same year Cora Shaffer b.March 18 1889 died later that same year Ollie Shaffer b. March 18 1889 twin to Cora Ernist Shaffer b.1891 was told he was thought to died as a young boy kicked by a horse in the head ? Children of Charlie and Lucy Shaffer are-------- Edna Ruth Shaffer b.1896 Daisy Shaffer b.? there are 3 more girls but dont know there names Johnnie Shaffer b.1892 Earlie Shaffer b.1894 Ora J Shaffer b. 1884 Harry Shaffer b. ?
