hello, i saw that you are also researching the shafer family. i realize shafer must have been as popular as miller and smith are but i might get lucky and you might know about the jesse (josiah) shafer b 12 sep 1803 lower saucon twp northampton co, pa d bef 16 may 1846 in tobyhanna twp monroe co, pa. that i am researching. jesse married maria kresge b 10 jul 1805 d 21 may 1866 in monroe co, pa. i believe jesse's parents might have been john and catharine shafer but i am not sure. does this jesse (josiah) shafer sound familiar to you?? any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much - mark [email protected]
