Married Elizabeth DIETZ (b. 15 APR 1820 in Grauersheim, Rhein-Pfalz, Bav.) 11 SEPT 1842 in NY. He died 6 MAY 1902 in Tuscarawas Co.,OH. Philip and Elizabeth had 9 children: 1)Elizabeth b.1843, 2) John b. 1845, 3) Katherine b. 1847, 4)Christina b. 1848, 5) Charles Philip b. 1850, 6) Philipina Phoebe b. 1852, 7) Rebecca b.1856, 8) William Frederick b. 1857, 9) Karl Theodore b. 1859. My line is through John Schaefer b.14 MAR 1845 in Tuscarawas Co.,OH. He married Louisa LEET 5 APR 1875 in Wayne Co.,IL. He died 5 MAR 1894 in Wayne Co.,IL. John and Louisa had 6 children: 1) Elizabeth Cecelia "Lizzie" b. 1876,2) Charles William b. 1879, 3) Lydia Frances b. 1881, 4) Katherine Rebecca b. 1883, 5) Edith Jane b. 1884, 6) John Edward b.1887. "Lizzie" Schaefer was my great grandmother. She married Ephraim Elbridge "Eb" DUNCAN 14 MAY 1903 in Edwards Co.,IL. Would love to hear from anyone with information about this family.
