The earliest ancestor I have for her was an Andrew Shaffer who was born in PA near Philadelphia and who died in OHJ and is buried in Uniontown, OH. He fought in the Revolutionary War. His wife was Elisabeth Chambers and they were the parents ofFrederick = Jabez - Valentine - Nimrod - Amasa = Julyann - Elisabeth Our family descended from Valentine and eventually settled in LaGrange Co. IN. I have had contact with a descendent of Frederick and know that they settled in another County in IN but the name of that County escapes me at this time.
