Hi Kay! I have a Peter Shaffer b. Westmoreland Co., PA. C. 1800, parents were Johan Phillip and Anna Catherina Dornblaser Shaffer. Parent and their parents before were from Northampton Co., PA. Phillip and Anna Catherina moved along with all of their children to Licking Co., Ohio prior to 1820, they appear on the 1820 Federal Census for Licking Co., they then moved 1828 to the neiboring Knox Co., Ohio. Don't know if this is your Peter, would be interested in any information you may care to share concerning your Peter. Have quite a lot of information on my Shaffer/Shafer line. Ed Shafer
