DeCamp. They had 7 children: Edward, Minor, George, Annetta (she married aThomas Montgomery & lived in Washington state), Emmit, Mallissa, & Alice. After Joseph Shaffer's death in 1869 ~ Emily then married a George W. Hull & they moved by way of the Oregon trail to Washington state between 1870 & 1873. Emily had 2 more sons ~ Frank & Charles Hubb Hull. Emily & George subsequently divorced & Emily then continued living with her son Minor Shaffer on the Shaffer homestead. Minor was my grandfather & was married to Alma Hull & lived outside of Almira, WA Lincoln Co. They raised 6 children: Emmett, Loran, Dean, Genevieve, Joseph & Hiram Hull Shaffer (my father). Joe (Joseph) Shaffer had a son named Fred Shaffer (still living). I've inquired into this query simply because of similar names in the Shaffer lineage. A Fred & a Annetta Shaffer marrying a Montgomery. I h! ave never been able to track down the parents of JOSEPH STANFORD SHAFFER b. 1827 I believe in Iowa & received records that he is buried in Dallas Co., Adams Township, Iowa If this sounds familiar to anyone ~ please advise at clsherm@televar.com Thank You!!!!
