She was born October 7, 1892 in Advent, Jackson County, West Virginia, United States. Her father was David Wallace Shaffer born in West Virginia also. Her mother was Margaret Elizabeth Smith born in West Virginia. She had an older brother named Isaac L. Shaffer who was born approximately 1882. Odessa married James Frank Blankenship at the age of 16 on August 14, 1908 in Jackson County, West Virginia. I would appreciate any information on her parents and/or siblings. Attached is a copy of her delayed birth certificate on file at the West Virginia Archives. Thank you in advance.
