In answer to Mark's request for a few more listings, here is mine: I am looking for ancestors of Christina Schaeffer. Emigrated to the US in July 1849 From Friedrichshafen, Wuerttemberg Married Daniel Dobra shortly after arriving in the US Birthdate: December 31, 1831 Death Date: May 5, 1908 I would love to know where she settled after arriving in the US. I do know that she lived in Newark, New Jersey in 1870 and by 1880 was in Bowie County, Texas. I have a strong suspicion that she settled in Port Jervis, Orange County, New York.....but have no documentation to that effect. Anybody know of this Schaeffer? Charlotte Kaufman [email protected]
