My 3rd gr grandfather is Lewis/Louis Shaffer 1822-1886. According to most census he was born in Ohio. He bought land in Adams Co. IL 3 Nov 1849 and lived there until 1880. He is listed in Daviees Co. Missouri in 1880 census. Does anybody have information on his parents or children Looking for some help on this brick wall. Donna in beautiful Oregon
