Hello, fellow Shaffers. I hope someone can help me with my family since this is my maiden name and the branch (trunk actually) of my family tree that has refused to grow over years of research. Philip Shaffer (b. 1790 in NJ) married Susanna Drake in 1810 (where, I don't know). At some point they moved to just east of Columbus, OH in Muskingum County. Their children were Steven, William Henry Harrison (apparently just called Harrison), Laura, Elmira, Mahala, John Calvin, Louisa, Eurania, and Simon. Susanna died in 1837, two weeks after Simon's birth. I would very much appreciate it if anyone knows any of these elusive people. Kelley Shaffer Dickinson
