Howdy 1 Cor. 1:03: My GGreatfather was David Schafer and lived in Iowa-wife name unknown Three Sons Abraham, two Sons-names unknown Thomas, bachalor, died June 14, 1923 in Muscatine, Iowa. Isaac (my Grandfather), married to Sarah Jane Hurley, July 16, 1877, in Logan Co., Ill. Numerous children Elba, Mattie, Pearl, Walter(?), and Henry Isaac (my Father. On Isaac's obit was that he came from Penn, I think York Co. In Thomas' probate nieces and nephew were listed in the following names, Ella Miller, Addie Whiteman, Goerge Brown, Sadie Miller, Vinie Frakes Lydia Shafer, Perrising Minning, William Minning, Frank and Orville Langdale, Alice Bramley and David and John Shafer in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
