John Schaeffer born the 19 day of February the year 1797 My father was born January the 20 in the year 1769. Making him when he died 86 years 3 months & 8(?) days old. My mother was born Aug 25 in the year 1774. Died September ??th 1844 age 70 years This I have noted down on one of my birthdays-being the 19 day of February 1856. Being on that day 59 years of age. Jacob was born on the 30 day of June in the year of 1822 and baptized the first day of Sep 1822 Christena was born on the 26 day of November in the year 1823 and baptised the 14 day of March 1824 Susan was born on the 7 day of August in the year 1825 and baptised 13 day of November in the year 1825 Catharine was born on the 2 day of April 1827 and was baptised the 22 day of July 1827 Annmariah was born on the April the 12 (as written)in the year 1829 and was baptised 23 of May 1829 Daniel was born on the 11(?) of February in the year 1831 and baptised the 24 of April in the year 1831. Rebecca was born on the 5th of March 1833 and was baptised the 18 of May 1833. John and Elizabeth his wife are buried in Bethel East Cem., Bethel Twp., Miami Co., Ohio.
