She was born about 1842 in Pa. When my mother died I found a copy of a will from a Jacob Shaffer of Donegal dated 1830 in her belongings. In the will it mentions Jacobs's wife ( Elizabeth), sons (Leonard, Adam), and daughters (Susan and Elizabeth). I think Jacob Shaffer was Julia Ann Shaffer's grandfather. I just don't know which of his sons were Julia's father. If some could help me out, I'd be forever grateful.
