I've been reading the various queries of the Schaeffer/Shaffer/etc. line and have noticed that most of them are in the East. Is there anyone out there with relatives in WISCONSIN???? I am trying to track down a family that I know very little about. The "last of the line" was an only child whose father died prior to this person's birth and mother shortly after his birth (depending on which story you hear). Anyhow, there were other siblings to the parents and grandparents. The grandparents came from Crivitz, Mecklenbeurg Germany. Kathy [email protected]
