I am looking for the family line of Jacob Shaffer that married Anna Messenger in Brighton, Monroe Co., NY. Her parents were Rufus Messenger and Rosannah (Goddard) that was married in Granby, CT in 1798 and then moved to Monroe Co., NY by 1800, First to Pittsford, then Boyle that became apart of Brighton, NY. Rufus was the welfare officer and Pathmaster of Brighton. He died in 1835. Rose
