I'm assuming NW Pennsylvania as 1880 census shows that Dollie & adopted parents (Benjamin & Leah) were living in PA, Clearfield Co., Brady Twp. She was 11 (b 1869). There are some Shaffer familiies but haven't found Sam yet. My hardest surname is Ocoboc. My G-Grandma was Cora Ocoboc Arnold. Haven't found much on the branch. Take care. /s/ Sally Chase
