I had many great contacts from my last posting. My grandmother was Delia Forrest Shaffer born 1893 in Smith County, Kansas. She married George Lewis Weideman (various spellings on that name!). Her father was John Spangler Shaffer born 1844 in Centre County, Pennsylvania. He was married to Sarah Ellen Smith born 1853 in Wisconsin. John Spangler's father was John Shaffer born 1816 in Pennsylvania married to Mary (Polly) Spangler born 1819 in Pennsylvania. John Shaffer Sr. father was Andrew Shaffer born 1793 in Pennsylvania married to Sarah Salome Mease born 1801 in Pennsylvania. I have additional info on descendants of these folks which I am willing to share. Thanks, Sue
