Hello everyone, I have a Martha Batchelor marrying Thomas Starley in Twineham. The only date I can find for her birth is 1764. Is there a baptismal record which shows her parents Richard and Ann Penfold? Also, this Richard is shown baptised 8 April 1727 in Cuckfield. Does it show on a parish record who his parents were? Does anyone know what the Batchelors and Starley's did for a living back then? Without census records or wills, it's very hard to determine what their occupations were. Regards,Sandra
