Several years ago I was given a copy of a "Woolven" family tree from a member (as I thought) of the 'Woolven One Name Group'. After recent correspondence with another researcher I have reason to doubt some of its content, and thought I would check back with the group only to find it does not exist now. I am trying to find the parents of Richard Woolvin born 1650-1656 in (I believe) West Grinstead. I have believed his parents to be Richard & Anne but recent contacts have suggested Richard & Leah. I do know that the PR Transcript for West Grinstead show a birth for a Richard in 1851 to Richard & Leah but I am wondering if anybody else has this family in their tree and can confirm this for me. I need to sort this question out as if my earlier information is wrong I lose 4 generations of ancestors, but I would rather lose them than claim them incorrectly. Hope somebody can help Wyn Burgess 3812
Just to check is it 1851 or 1651?
