Dear Peter, One way that you could do it is by making putting your list into Microsoft Access and then adding a column with a hyperlink to the scanned images which you presumably have in another file. I have just discovered how to do this and it seems to work all right! Peter, You can insert pictures into Word quite simply ("insert/picture/from file") and you can use "format picture" to fix its position in the text. I do this all the time. It would save you having to create a database, as Word is easily searchable for text using the "find" function.
