Hello all, I am trying to trace the road where my ancestor, James Ranger, c 1697 lived. I have his will where he leaves his house to his sons. It is described as on the Kings Highway from Northiam windmill to Ewhurst to the little house, and mentions the Round Mill House and Mill Down hedge. I have left a message on the Northiam Message Board but have had no replies. There were 3 windmills in Northiam, one destroyed by fire and 2 demolished in the 40s. I have Googled "Round Mill House" but there is nothing under that name - Mill house, but is that the same property? Can anyone help? Thanks, John
