hello all listers, first i would like to thank you for the help you have given me so far in trying to find the three mclachlan brothers that were sent to Toronto Canada by Dr barnardos in 1893/4. since i last wrote to SFHG i have managed to obtain the will of the wife of the youngest boy stanley robert mclachlan. stanley died in 1970 in Toronto leaving no children and no will. but his wife lily maud [richardson] Mclachlan did leave a will and she died in march 1972. her home address was 21 Mountalan aAvenue Toronto.on lily's death certificate the informant is a MRS MAY PAYTON described as niece. address, 180 Leslie Street Toronto. I was hoping that the certificate and the will might give me some information about Stanleys two brothers but sadly no. the other piece of information in the will was a lady by the name of BETTY HOILE address 6 Park Road,Aylesbury,Jeridon Underwood, Bucks, England. On Ancestry I couldn't find this lady either. I am trying to find the connection to stanley with May Payton and Betty Hoile but so far have drawn a blank.
