    1. [SFHG] Who appointed parish priest/vicar in Streat c1570-1600?
    2. Donna Casey
    3. Does anyone know who would have appointed the parish priest/vicar in Streat c1570 - 1600?  Or how can I find out?   Was there a Squire who lived at Streat Place mid 1500's to 1600? I do know that Richard Tichborn/e of Cowden, Kent appointed or had great influence on the appointment c1637-1642...but I am interested in before that time. Any information or direction will be most appreciated. 3. Hi Donna, The Church of England Clergy Database shows that George Goring Esquire was the patron of Streat when John Tillinghast was inducted.
