Can anyone direct me to any on-line sources to read about 17th C law.  I am still muddled about that 12-year old boy witnessing the will. I have now run across another situation in which I need to decide if the male person witnessing a will in 1649 is the son or the brother....and age will be the deciding factor. I dislike putting information in my book that is not fully correct and/or cannot be supported by a confirmed source.
