    1. Re: [SFHG] New Zealand BMDs?
    2. Cordelia Hull
    3. Thanks to all who have responded re. NZ BMDs. But I may not need them now after all. With the help of a persistent friend (who found a listing in a NZ phonebook which she thought just MIGHT pertain to the particular family I was looking for), I have just had the most wonderful stroke of luck. My friend was right. This guy was indeed a descendant of my g-grandfather's older brother who emigrated to NZ in 1863, part of the 'lost branch' of my family tree. But not only was this person the 'right' guy, he ALSO is the custodian of a family bible listing all the descendants of my g-grandfather's older brother - AND he is happy to copy that list for me (even hand-write it, if necessary, to avoid damage to the family bible !!). How lucky can one person be? One huge branch of the family tree, previously unknown to me, now in full leaf. In return, I can perhaps help him fill in some of his earlier English history, back to the 17th century. And I'm looking into flights to New Zealand. :-) Cordelia in Melbourne 14526 On 21 December 2012 11:38, robert edward lee <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All > > A slight addition to the answer below.
