    1. [SFHG] Any Sussex epidemics in 1867?
    2. Cordelia Hull via
    3. Does anyone know of any epidemics or disasters that hit mid-Sussex in May-July 1867? I have a family on a distant twig of my tree who lived in Blackstone nr Woodmancote at that time. They lost three sons (aged 20, 15 and 9) within three months of each other. I would like to know how they all died, but GRO death certificates are expensive so I thought I'd try epidemics / disasters first. I can't find anything much on Google. Cordelia 14526

    3. Not an epidemic, but don't rule out TB(consumption) as it accounted for about 25% of all deaths and if one member of a family had it then it could spread easily to other members.
