Good morning All, I am an avid watcher of Bargain Hunt on tv. Recently they have been shopping in the shops of Lewes and for me it is lovely to see where my ancestor possibly walked. I guess back in the 1850's it wasn't as lovely as it looks today. Goodness knows how old the episodes are as we get a terrible lot of repeats. But it just gives me way over here in Tasmania, Australia a little insight into the area that my ancestor Lancelot Stevens/Stephens of West Firle came from in 1856.
