    3. I have been through my research notebooks and the only MI's that I have found for East Wittering are in the notebooks of E. H. W. Dunkin. The original Dunkin notebooks are in the care of the Sussex Archaeological Society's Library at Lewes, but some have been filmed and there is a copy of the films at WSRO. For East Wittering, you need Notebook 111 and it is on WSRO film MF 508. However, I must warn you that genealogists like Mr. Dunkin are more interested in the great and the good whose memorials are inside the parish church than in the majority of the local population who are buried in the churchyard outside.
