    3. Further to my posting on my Dolton connection, I have now established that EDWARD GEORGE DOLTON married LOTTIE WYSNER in the September quarter of 1900 in Marylebone district. The 1901 and 1911 census returns show that she was born in Holborn, but I could not find a birth for Lottie Wysner. The surname is very unusual (presumably eastern European), so I wondered if she was a widow when she married. This turns out to be the case - Vacslav Vincent Wysner married Lottie Pegler in 1893, and Vacslav died in 1899 in Steyning district. Unfortunately Vacslav's short married life with Lottie fell between the census returns, and short of paying for his marriage certificate, I cannot find any more about him - there is nothing else on Ancestry. I wonder if anyone can suggest how I might find when and why he came to England? Thanks Neal 9743

    3. According to some Public Member Trees on Ancestry, the marriage took place on 06 Nov 1893 in Marylebone Register Office in London. If that is indeed the case, you won't find any extra details on Ancestry or other web sites such as FamilySearch. Of course, you could contact the people who own the family trees and ask them if they have any further information and/or where they obtained the information originally. Failing that, you would need to purchase a certificate to obtain further details. Best wishes, Marion Woolgar Bognor Regis, West Sussex SFHG Member No: 3323
