    3. Thanks to Marion, Wendy, Gwen and Lee for their replies. I tried to purchase the book online before sending my previous message. With shipping, the price was over $40. Nevertheless, after logging in to PayPal, I got to the end of the payment process and instead of receiving confirmation of my order, I was sent back to the shopping basket and asked again for payment. For the moment, I don't know if my account has been debited and Gould has not responded to my emails. John Barnes Funnell was a grocer and cheesemonger in Hastings owning several shops. I have most of his BMD and press cuttings from Trove. He was declared insolvent around 1860 and spent some time in Lewes prison. He later turns up with his family in Brisbane and Adelaide as shopkeeper and photographer. Lastly, he settles in Kadina where he becomes a renowned homeopathic practitioner and finds a new prosperity. I was hoping the book could shed some light on how and where he acquired such knowledge and how he arrived in Kadina. His wife and sons were storekeepers. Thanks again, Andy _____________________________________ On Sun, Dec 14, 2014 at 5:46 AM, Andy Funnell via <sfhg@rootsweb.com> wrote:"Copper Brought Them Here: Pioneers Buried in the Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo Cemeteries" edited by Gould Genealogy and History (2011). Would any listmember in Australia own or have access to this book and be willing to do a lookup for me? I'm interested in the information concerning Barnes Funnell. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available online in my part of the world. Thanks for any help.
