Hello Cordelia, The transcript for Cuckfield by the Parish Register Transcription Society that have supplied most parish transcripts for SFHG has 01/01/1797 NORMAN Ann Inf. So an infant it is. There is a gap in your NORMAN baptisms between 1793 and 1797 so Ann was either baptised elsewhere, or the church official perhaps failed to enter it from the day book and so missed from the PR and perhaps even the BT's which should be checked.
