Hello all. I too have had a few problems with certificates, missing ones or the wrong ones being sent. I do noy bother with the phone. I write direct to the GRO (not so easy if you are in Oz like Joe) and usually get the correct certicate within 7 days. Actually errors contained within the certificates should be quite rare. Most certificates are produced these days by photocopying from the register books. So if there are errors they were done by the registrars copying from their own register books into the second register book to be sent to the GRO (or whatever it was called at the time). It is only occasionally, when the entry is difficult to read, thet the GRO gave to manually copy a certificate. Then errors can crrep in. Regards to all. John Cain 10370
