Hi Brian, I had a similar problem with my 'Ultimate Family Tree' which is no longer supported - I was unable to load it onto my new PC with Windows XP. In desperation I punched in brief details of my problem on Google which produced loads of websites. Among them was a free download of a patch (No.23 in my case) which was precisely suited to my needs. Once downloaded, it enabled my PC to accept my obsolete family history programme. I think it likely that many programmes that worked on XP won't work on Vista but it is likely that patches have been created to provide a compatible interface. As my computer has now given up working, I have had to change to a computer with Vista as the programme. I am unable to us the disc on this machine. Can anybody come up with suggestions on which one to use. The sierra disc is great as you have a family member on each page and you can store a great deal of info. As help would be appreciated Regards Brian Fenner ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to SFHG-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
