    3. I have similar double weddings in family lines. Perhaps each one of the couple - or their parents - wanted the ceremony to be recorded in their own church, to be witnessed by family and friends. Both marriages are recorded in the parish registers. Has anyone heard of a double wedding in two different places before between the same couple? How unusual was this and what might be an explanation?
