    2. Colin Chapman's book 'Pre-1841 Censuses and Population Listings in the British Isles' shows which early Sussex censuses include names, often with ages. With the exception of Tangmere 1831, they are listed on the SFHG publications pages so a quick browse starting at http://www.sfhg.org.uk/pubs-6.html may be of interest. But no Wadhurst. A search for Wadhurst from the publications home page (http://www.sfhg.org.uk/pubs.html) lists the East Sussex 1841 and 1851 censuses. http://www.sfhg.org.uk/A-Z_Places-in-Pubs-Listing-People.pdf shows what else there is for Wadhurst - and everywhere else. 2. P.S. I might have mentioned that our library catalogue shows other Wadhurst sources at http://www.sfhg.org.uk/philcat1W.html. Alan 1350 >
