Hello members On 10th May I posted this query: Does anyone know who the George Millyard is/was who gives his name to the George Millyard Cup that the Sussex Sunday League play for? The answer: The secretary of the Sussex Sunday Football League provided me with the information I was after. George Millyard 1912-1998 was my second cousin once removed - his grandfather William Millyard and my great-grandfather John Millyard were brothers. Although I never met George, he seems to have been quite a character. Particularly he was involved with Brighton Boys Boxing Club and helped set up the Sussex Sunday Football League in the Brighton area in the 1960's Trevor Millyard 4480
