Steve, I have just received copies of 4 wills for my £20 (I pushed the boat out!). For each I received the page on probate, value of estate etc. that you mention and a copy of the wills themselves, in my case all one page long only. When I phoned them on first contact I found them very helpful, so I suggest you might get in touch with them to clarify. Maybe there wasn't an actual will. I'll be interested to read your results. All I received was one A4 sheet containing the barest of details just summarising that his estate did not exceed £40, 000 gross or £10,000 net and that the named representative was his wife. Is this usual to get such scant information or should I contact the HMCS again and make clear that I also would like a copy of the will, detailing family members and what they were entitled to? I was under the impression that the £5 fee copies of both probate and will.
