After a whistle stop trip to Brighton this week, I located my great x 3 grandfather's (unmarked) grave in Lewes Road Cemetery. The only other fact I have about his death was that he died at 16 Sydney Street on 5 March 1871, the informant being a Harriett Higgs of Whichels Place. Please could some kind person with access to the 1871 census for Brighton tell me who was living at No. 16 on census night - I imagine it was a landlady with boarders in her house but it might give me some inkling about the premises where he died.Diana _________________________________________________________________ http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/msnnkmgl0010000009ukm/direct/01/
