    3. Hello Roger, Many thanks for your very informative reply. I have often wondered whether Michael WOOLGAR's shop in The Hornet was a Cokeler shop? Yes, Michael WOOLGAR is indeed buried in Chichester. His grave is in Portfield Cemetery and I have a photograph of it and a record of the inscription on the headstone. I can send these to you off-List if you would like to have copies. I also have a copy of an article about the Cokelers by Earl Winterton which was published in the "Sussex County Magazine" in 1931 (volume 5 page 717 et seq) which you might like to read, if you haven't discovered it already. Thank you, I would love to see a photo of Michael WOOLGAR. I once met an elderly Chichester resident who, as a young boy, knew him back in the 1920's. He was described to me as a man who looked like Methuselah with a long and flowing white beard. I shall be very interested to see if the photo matches the description! Best wishes Marion Woolgar Bognor Regis, West Sussex SFHG NO: 3323
