Hi Robin, After unsuccessfully searching various large scale online maps of Hartfield for STITCHES FARM (both ancient and modern), I can only suggest that consulting the tithe map at ESRO for Hartfield might reveal where it may have been located. I note that Hartfield is one of a number whose tithe maps are now available on CD, however, viewing it for free at ESRO might be the cheaper option! Best wishes, Mike Searle. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ROBIN COATES" <robin.coates1@btinternet.com> To: <SFHG-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 31, 2008 10:58 AM Subject: [SFHG] Stitches Farm, Hartfield > Hi. > > I am hoping that someone may be able to help me with STITCHES FARM in > HARTFIELD; according to various wills it existed in at least the 17th and > 18th > centuries and a group of researchers visited it as recently as 2004.
