Adrian. Not sure if it will help much. In the 1841 census for Uckfield Workhouse there is an entry (2 above Sophia) for Harriet Santer age 12 also shown as born Sussex. The LDS Church website (www.familysearch.org) lists a christening of Harriet Santer 29 June 1828 at Cranbrook, parents shown as Stephen and Judith Santer. The LDS site also lists a marriage in Benenden 30 November 1812 between Stephen Santer and Judith Risbridge. This may give you something to check on. Regards. John Cain 10370
