Hi Can SKS help please I want to order a 2003 marriage certificate,I do not know which number in the GRO ref.is the district number.I have Vol,Page,Reg and Entry Numbers and of coarse district name but no district number,or does it really matter?Knowing how fickle the GRO are I do not want to leave anything out for the application to be rejected. Dear John, I recently had a problem with them, though with a death certificate. What I found was that there was a district number which was required, but which doesn't appear on the Ancestry report. I found the district number by looking up the same record in Findmypast. Good luck!
