Thanks to everyone who responded to my query regarding the value of the BVRI. Special thanks to Michael Lucas who did some sample look ups for me.   I have now found a site that indicates the coverage of the BVRI: http://www.genoot.com/downloads/BVRI2/. Sadly very few parishes that I am interested in are covered by the BVRI and so I will not be purchasing the index at present.   However if the parishes that other listers are interested in are covered in depth by the index then I would agree that it is a useful index.   Perhaps a third updated version will be issued with more records and then I will review my decision.  Kind regards Roger Rushton Cheshire __________________________________________________________ Not happy with your email address?.
