The records are not on line. Apparently there is a list on line of the parishes covered (from a previous email) but to view the actual records one must purchase the CD. It is extremely reasonable for what it contains. It is produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) by volunteers and the cost is mainly just for the expense of producing the CDs. I am sorry to contradict you, but the British Isles Vital Records Index is now available online for baptisms and marriages up to 1906. It is available on the new-ish LDS trial web site at www.pilot.familysearch.org . The site can be a little slow to load at times, so you do need to be patient and the site only shows 10 records per page, compared to 200 records on the main site. However, in addition to the BVRI, there are lots of new records available for searching; and if you only want to investigate a particular database, you have that option by scrolling down the initial page and then clicking on the database of your choice. If this is the "face of things to come" from the LDS, then it will be a most welcome addition to the array of indexes now available online. I haven't yet found a way to download the information, but I expect that will come in time.
