    3. Vic, When was George born? Have you tried looking for other spelling of Housely Hously, Housley, Howsley? Also Lower may be spelt Louer. In the a2a records I found 2 mentions to a Thomas Hously (note spelling) in the East Sussex records. Also in www.familysearch.org an Elizabeth Divall is shown to be married to James Lower in Alfriston (very near Seaford). They were both born in Alfriston. This record is in the Ancestral File and the submitter if you wish to write to her is Lynne H Shumway, 263 E 400 S, Orem, UT, USA 84058. I found a very likely Lower family in Seaford where according to census my George Lower was born. If I am right his father James Lower a carrier died in 1814 in Seaford. His mother Elizabeth Lower nee Devall remarried on 24 June 1818 in Bishopstone nr. Seaford to Thomas Housely a widower of "this parish". I can find no other records of Thomas Housely in that area. I have found a Death record of a Thomas Housely 11 July 1833 in Rye Baptist. But I cannot find a record of Elizabeth Housely after the marriage. I was hoping to find the whereabouts of Elizabeth Housely and maybe a clue to a link to my George Lower. If anyone can help as to any Housely records I would very much appreciate it.
