Hello Listers A 9 x ggm was Ann YOUNG d/o Thomas YOUNG, baptised in St Clement's Hastings on 1 Dec 1579. The problem is sorting out which Thomas YOUNG was her father and which Thomas YOUNG was Mayor of Hastings. I suspect that her father was NOT the Mayor of Hastings, but I need to know a bit more about him in order to be sure. I have found a marriage on the SMI in Rye in 1576 of Thomas YOUNG aka VYNES. This **may** be my 10 x ggf, but I'm not sure about that either. Can anyone help with any info on Thomas YOUNG the Mayor please? Any ideas on 'aka VYNES' would also be appreciated. Many thanks.
