I have been battling against a brick wall¹ for some time now and I would appreciate any help that may be out there. The problem concerns one Richard Page who is listed on the Weald website as having been born c1770 (no parents quoted), and as being listed in the Fletching Parish Registers. He certainly exists as I have details of his marriage, family etc., but he is not listed in the Parish Registers nor in the Bishop¹s transcripts. Consequently, I do not have any information concerning his parents result brick wall! I have searched every website I can think of and in adjacent parishes to try and locate him without success, and I appeal on anyone who may have come across him or has any other ideas to respond to this plea.
