    1. [SFHG] Blackman, Brighton
    2. Roger Nash
    3. June There were Blackman’s in Brighton as far back as 1840 when James Blackman was born there. He later married into my tree in 1871 when he married Martha Jane Sayers, in Brighton. I do not have any children that I know of, though that is not to say there weren’t any. I was interested to find a Blackman cropping up in this context as I have several generations of Blackman’s recorded in Horsham in the 19th-early 20th century. That family came from Rye, as shoemakers. There may eventually be something there for you. No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
