I am very new to the society and reallystruggling to find details of the PROUDLEY family.I do hope members can help. My Gt Gt Gt Grandmother was Jane PROUDLEY, on ordering a marriage certificate I found that although from Cowden in Kent, her parents were more than likely to be James PROUDLEY and Susannah MILES where were married in Hartfield, Sussex around 1810. I can find no mention of the family in any census report after that. I did find a baptism for James in 1811 in Cowden but none for Jane. If any members can help with any information as to what happened to PROUDLEYS/PROUDLYS or Susannahs family (the MILES) Kind regards Member 12618
