    1. Re: [SFHG] faulty line
    2. another way to test paternity is genealogical dna (male dna with the same surname will have the same dna markers normally if there is a paper trail ) if there is a question, we found out we are not Baker's but probably Taylor's - now looking for a living male Taylor to from that line to genealogical dna test, here's hoping! jennifer #9664 Original Message: ----------------- From: jencap jencap@ntlworld.com Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2008 22:25:42 +0100 To: georgina@musicair.co.uk, sfhg@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SFHG] faulty line Thanks to Georgina and Diane for your thoughts on the subject. Panic over!! I've scrutinised the records more closely and found in very faint ink the part that says he was granted home leave from France, but no mention of the reason, between 14/11/17 and 29/11/17..Mum was born 17/8/1918.... he obviously put his time to good use! He then went back to France until 14/4/18. So, problem solved.
